Are you an organised and proactive Procurement Planner looking for your next challenge?
We are recruiting for a Procurement Planner to join a busy and successful organisation. This is a key role responsible for ensuring materials and components are available when needed, supporting business operations and maintaining effective stock levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing procurement schedules in line with business forecasts and operational requirements
- Raising, maintaining and expediting purchase orders through SAP
- Monitoring supplier performance and resolving any supply issues
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Managing inventory levels and identifying potential stock risks
- Providing accurate forecasts to suppliers to ensure continuity of supply
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and planning functions
- Attending regular planning and operational meetings
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience within procurement, purchasing, materials planning or supply chain planning
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Experience using SAP, knowledge of Accellos would be advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
- A collaborative team player who can build effective relationships across departments
