Supply Chain Expeditor

Overview
We are recruiting for two junior-level Expeditors to join a busy and fast-paced supply chain function within a well-established engineering and manufacturing environment.
These positions are well suited to individuals with a background in purchasing, supply chain administration, or logistics coordination who are looking to move into a more operational role with greater responsibility and involvement in delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Expedite purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery from suppliers
- Proactively track and chase order progress to prevent delays
- Communicate with suppliers to obtain updates and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate information within ERP systems
- Work closely with procurement, planning, and operations teams
- Identify risks to delivery schedules and escalate where required
- Support the coordination and flow of materials across the business
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities within the supply chain
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain administration role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident communication skills, particularly when dealing with suppliers
- Proactive approach with the ability to follow up and resolve issues
- Good attention to detail and data accuracy
- Experience using ERP systems (such as SAP or MRP systems) is desirable
This opportunity is open to relatively junior candidates who have a solid foundation and are looking to develop within a supply chain environment.
