Pay: £90-£115 per day
Year Group: Year 4 (1:1 and small-group SEN support)
About the Role
A welcoming two-form entry primary school in Stepney Green is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil with autism and sensory processing needs. The role starts in June, with immediate trials available.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and inclusion team to deliver structured learning activities, regulate sensory needs, and support the pupil during transitions and core subjects. You'll also run short, targeted interventions for small groups.
The Ideal Candidate
The school is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant who:

Has experience with autism, communication needs, or sensory strategies

Can follow support plans and use visual timetables and modelling

Builds calm, consistent relationships with pupils

Is confident delivering scaffolded learning in English and Maths

Holds an Enhanced DBS (or is willing to apply)
