Lead Licensing Officer needed in Bideford Paying £36.10 per hr ref 5298255
Full time hours on a temporary basis

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver licensing functions in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
- Act as the lead officer within the Licensing Team, providing advice, guidance and support to colleagues.
- Attend and contribute to internal Licensing Team meetings.
- Keep up to date with licensing legislation and policy developments.
- Draft and review licensing policies for renewal and present reports to the Licensing Committee.
- Respond to routine enquiries and complaints relating to the licensing service.
- Process applications across the full range of licensing functions.
- Carry out inspections of licensed premises and investigate cases of non-compliance.
- Take enforcement action where necessary and appropriate.
- Prepare detailed reports and present cases at Licensing Sub-Committee hearings.
