An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant to join the Accounting Services team of a Big 4 firm in Mancheter. This is a market-leading team providing high-quality corporate accounting services to a diverse portfolio of national and multinational clients.
You'll be part of a technically strong, collaborative environment with a focus on delivering efficient, insight-driven solutions while supporting clients with their ongoing compliance and reporting needs.
What you will be doing as an Accounting Services Senior Associate
- Preparation of statutory financial statements (SFS)
- Bookkeeping and preparation of periodic management accounts
- Managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality outputs
- Supporting ad hoc accounting and advisory projects
- Participating in client secondments, working on-site where required
- Contributing to proposals and supporting the growth of the accounting compliance offering
- Supporting developments in process improvement, technology, risk, and controls
- Managing and mentoring junior team members
What you will need to succeed as an Accounting Services Senior Associate
- ACA / ACCA qualified (or international equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly in financial reporting
- Good working knowledge of UK GAAP / IFRS (US GAAP exposure beneficial)
- Experience using accounting software and strong Excel skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively within a team
