About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join a supportive secondary school team immediately. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make an immediate impact, with the position transitioning into a permanent role from September.You will be responsible for delivering high-quality D&T lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students and fostering a creative learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective Design & Technology lessons
- Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with the national curriculum
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Support student progress and attainment
- Contribute to the wider school community
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Passion for education and student development
