The Role As a Shift Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a range of production machinery and site utilities. • Assist in maintaining a safe working environment and promote best practice in health and safety.
  • Support risk assessments, safe systems of work, permits to work, and compliance activities.
  • Participate in audits and help implement corrective actions where required.
  • Contribute to training and knowledge sharing within engineering and production teams.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and safety records.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial engineering environment.
  • Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical and/or electrical systems.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements within an engineering setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility to provide shift cover and respond to major breakdowns when required.

What's on Offer

  • Opportunity to work within a stable and growing manufacturing business.
  • Varied and challenging engineering work with modern production equipment.
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Supportive team environment with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement projects.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.

If you're an experienced engineer looking for your next challenge and want to be part of a business that values reliability, teamwork, and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
