An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a successful primary school in Reading from September 2026. This position would suit a Year 3 Teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality education and helping pupils thrive both academically and personally.

Located in a vibrant area of Reading, this well-regarded primary school is recognised for its inclusive culture, supportive environment, and commitment to excellence. The appointed Year 3 Teacher will lead a class of approximately 20 pupils, providing engaging lessons that support children's transition and development within Key Stage 2.

The Role
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will plan and deliver stimulating lessons that spark curiosity, encourage independence, and promote a lifelong love of learning. The successful Year 3 Teacher will be confident in creating an inclusive classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued, supported, and challenged to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress effectively
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
- Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to maximise outcomes
About You
The ideal Year 3 Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (applications from ECTs are welcomed)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A passion for inspiring and motivating young learners
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
