My client is a reputable main contractor, very well established in the market. They have a strong north west pipeline of work which has leaded them to require to add to their commercial teams.
Project Quantity Surveyor that they are looking with be a self-motivated individual. That has proven experience delivering projects between £5million – £10million. This could suit an Assistant looking to make the step up to Project Quantity Surveyor.
They are looking for Quantity Surveyor that has previous experience ideally working for a main building contractor. You will be working with of procurement, sub-contractors, cost, and preparation of budgets.
As a business they do work on a variety of schemes, which would give some variety to your job role. They deliver residential, industrial and commercial new builds and extensions. The scheme in mind is a £10million industrial project new build project.
As Quantity Surveyor you will have experience of pricing building materials for projects and worked on new build schemes, the successful candidate will be proactive.
Responsibilities: • To attend site and progress meetings as required by the Client. • To prepare periodic cost reports in agreed format at specified times • Taking bills of quantities and using up to date computerised estimating software. • To prepare Contract documents • Monitor development completion requirements • Minimum Requirements: • Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying • To prepare, negotiate, and issue final accounts and final statements • Taking bills of quantities and using up to date computerised estimating software. • To prepare Contract documents • Monitor development completion requirements
