  • Investigate non-conformances and support effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Work with production and engineering teams to reduce repeat issues and improve right-first-time performance.
  • Support the development, control and improvement of QMS processes, procedures and quality records.
  • Provide quality engineering input into new product introduction, product lifecycle activity and process changes.
  • Promote strong quality standards across a team-based manufacturing environment.

Experience Required

  • Quality engineering experience within manufacturing, engineering or a regulated production environment.
  • Clean-room experience, or the confidence and discipline to work in full clean-room clothing in a sterile setting.
  • Good process improvement, problem-solving and data analysis capability.
  • Experience with control plans, process design, non-conformance management and root cause analysis.
  • Good understanding of QMS requirements, quality documentation and controlled processes, with proven working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards; ISO 13485 is advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively with production, engineering and operational teams.
  • Suitable for a Quality Engineer looking to develop in a high-standard, regulated manufacturing environment.

Benefits

  • Salary of £45,000 – £50,000.
  • Private medical cover.
  • 28 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Four weeks paternity leave.
  • Comprehensive benefits package.
  • Small amount of flexible remote working when required, with the role mainly on-site.
