We have an exciting opportunity for a General/ ManualMachinist based in Bedfordshire for one of our clients on a Full time Permanent basis.
Summary of the General/ Manual Machinist role
Salary: £14 – £16 per hour Location: Bedfordshire Type of Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30 to 4:30 and Friday 7:30 to 12:30 (overtime available)
Responsibilities of the General/ Manual Machinist – Capable of using manual lathes/ mills – Must be able to use measuring equipment and hand tools – Physically fit and reliable – Maybe asked to do other duties if required
Requirements for a successful General/ Manual Machinist – Experience working with metals (ideally bronze and stainless) – Be able to read CAD or CAM drawings would be an advantage but no essential – Work at high accurate tolerance – Some CNC experience would be an advantage but no essential
