Your new role:
You will be joining a well-known and growing manufacturing business who, under a larger group, are looking to expand their sales & design team with the hire of an Applications Engineer!Offering a range of competitive benefits, a modern working environment and opportunities for earnings and the potential to progress, this is a great time to join the business.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Working with the sales team with technical requests from customers
- Offering technical solutions to customers at all stages of the design and sales processes.
- Preparing, potentially with the support of other company's functions, the offer (technical configuration, cost estimation, delivery date estimation, etc.).
- Identifying new potential opportunities for the business i.e. turnkey solutions, process sales
- Project management
This is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required.
Experience & Skills needed:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing/engineering environment
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent
- Ability to work with wider teams from design, shop floor, projects etc.
- Ability to work with and explain technical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
