Pertemps are delighted to be working with our public sector client to recruit for a minute taker to support their Social Care team.
Role – Minute Taker
Location – Edinburgh – City Centre
Hours – Monday – Friday, 36 hours per week
Duration – Temporary, ongoing
Pay rate – £14.51
Start asap
The successful candidate will be carrying out, but not be limited to:
- Attend and minute a variety of social work meetings, including child protection conferences, looked-after reviews, and multi-agency meetings.
- Accurately record detailed and sensitive information, ensuring clarity and confidentiality.
- Produce high-quality, clear, and concise minutes within agreed timescales.
- Ensure minutes reflect key decisions, actions, outcomes, and responsibilities.
- Liaise with social workers and professionals to confirm accuracy and resolve queries.
- Distribute approved minutes to relevant parties in a timely and secure manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle all information in line with data protection and safeguarding policies.
- Organise and manage scheduling of meetings when required, including booking venues or setting up virtual meetings.
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems for all meeting documentation.
- Adapt minute-taking style depending on the meeting type and complexity.
You should have excellent attention to detail and observe strict confidentiality at all times.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain a Level 1 Disclosure Scotland at a cost of £25.
