Our client, a Yorkshire council is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join their CP/CIN Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
- Manage a complex caseload of children subject to Child Protection and Child in Need plans, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Undertake high-quality assessments (Section 17 & Section 47), identifying risk and need using sound professional judgement.
- Lead on planning, implementation, and review of child-centred plans to achieve positive outcomes.
- Provide practice leadership, mentoring, and guidance to less experienced social workers.
- Chair and contribute to multi-agency meetings (strategy discussions, core groups), ensuring coordinated safeguarding responses.
- Ensure compliance with statutory frameworks and safeguarding legislation, maintaining high practice standards.
- Prepare and present clear, evidence-based reports for conferences, reviews, and court where required.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
- Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
