Job Ref: 339979 Contract: Permanent Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime on Saturdays. Typical attendance is Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00. Location: Parcelforce Worldwide Carlisle LD, Kingstown Industrial Estate Carlisle CA3 0PP
Why this role pays off: • Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour • After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour • Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime) • Saturday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) applied to contracted hours • Paid weekday and weekend overtime • Additional Allowances:- o Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year) o Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

What you’ll be doing • Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes • Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks • Collecting and delivering parcels to homes and businesses • Providing a friendly, dependable service — whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail
What we’re looking for • A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points • Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg • Someone who’s friendly, dependable, and customer focused • Comfortable working independently but also a great team player • Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
