Relationship Manager – Property/Trade Finance/Corporates

cer Financial are working alongside a bank, who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Relationship Manager to help grow a portfolio that consists of property, some trade finance and some corporate lending, to work with them on a permanent basis, who also has strong credit skills.
The responsibilities of the Relationship Manager will include:
- First point of contact for clients and correspondent banks, managing day-to-day relationship matters.
- Supported portfolio management activities, including client meetings, credit monitoring, and risk assessment.
- Assisted Senior Relationship Managers with administrative, compliance, and client servicing responsibilities.
- Conducted credit analysis and portfolio reviews to evaluate credit risk, monitor exposures, and assess client profitability.
- Prepared credit applications and appraisal reports, including financial ratio analysis, risk identification, and credit recommendations.
- Presented credit proposals with recommendations on facility structure, pricing, terms, and risk acceptability to credit committees.
- Reviewed loan and security documentation to ensure compliance with approved credit terms and conditions.
- Coordinated with agent banks, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders to facilitate due diligence and transaction execution.
- Produced management reports, financial returns, and regulatory submissions for senior management and credit committees.
- Performed compliance due diligence, monitored SWIFT KYC Registry updates, and maintained bank and country credit limits.
- Prepared management information, reports, and applications while ensuring accurate reconciliation of credit limit records.
The candidate will have:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Credit and Marketing vis a vis origination
- Previous experience of loan documentation would be advantageous
A good understanding and background in the following:
