Job Title: Conveyancing Assistant / Paralegal
Salary Range: Up to £29,000
Location: Sheffield
Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:
- Supporting a busy Residential Conveyancing team on a full range of property transactions including sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
- Assisting with the progression of files from instruction through to post-completion, under supervision
- Drafting legal documents, preparing contract packs and reviewing title documentation
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other solicitors
- Conducting searches, dealing with Land Registry applications and SDLT submissions
- General file management and administrative support as required

Our client is a long-established and well-regarded regional law firm, known for their client-focused approach and high-quality legal services. Due to continued growth in their property department, they are looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal to support their experienced team in Chesterfield. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive and professional environment with genuine opportunities for progression.

- A minimum of 12 months experience in residential conveyancing is required
- Previous experience in a similar assistant or paralegal role within a law firm
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and confident client communication
- Experience using case management systems would be beneficial
