In this role, you will take ownership of a varied and rewarding portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality business services including accounts preparation, management accounts, and wider advisory support. Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of business services clients, delivering accounts preparation, management accounts, and advisory support
  • Leading, supervising, and mentoring junior team members to support their professional development
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact for day-to-day queries and strategic matters
  • Contributing to the growth of the business services department through the identification of new opportunities and the delivery of excellent client service
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements across all client work

Requirements

  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with significant post-qualification experience in a practice environment
  • Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Proven track record of managing client portfolios and delivering high-quality business services work
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team effectively
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or CCH
