Salary: £31,650 – £51,048 per annum (Dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are looking for a motivated educator to teach Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate. In this role, you will create engaging and inclusive lessons that encourage students of all abilities to grow in confidence and develop a love of learning.
You will help students strengthen their problem-solving, analytical, and numeracy skills, equipping them for success both in school and beyond.

The Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will
– Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons that engage, challenge, and inspire learners.
– Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
– Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
– Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and wellbeing.
– Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
– Contribute to the wider school community and support extracurricular opportunities where appropriate.
– Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
What We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will have:
– A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, or equivalent).
– Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting.
– Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Maths education.
– Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
– The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
– Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to teaching and learning.
– Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to adapt lessons to meet individual student needs.
– An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one.
