PA to Clerk (CEO) of a Historic City Livery Company
This is a unique opportunity for a highly organised and socially confident PA to assist the Clerk of a historic City Livery Company with charitable interests.
You will be responsible for organising the Clerk’s diary as well as the smooth running of their small office, including being the first point of contact, filing, maintaining records, stationery supplies etc. You will work closely with the Clerk assisting with an extensive programme of events which include the planning of formal functions, lunches and dinners for their members. In addition you will provide some support to the Charity Officer in planning their annual conference.
A proactive individual is sought, who will coordinate the annual preparation of the Company’s diary of events. Confident all–round office & IT skills are required (Word, Outlook, Excel, database knowledge). This is a position which is member facing and has considerable engagement with a broad range of the public at every level. The role holder needs to be confident, tactful and cooperative, with highly developed communication and social skills.
Proven PA experience gained at board level within the arts/charitable/historic/education sectors is preferred. Strong organisational skills including event organising experience essential.
This role requires 4 days in the office with 1 day working from home.
