The Role
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data transformation pipelines to create reliable, analysis-ready datasets
- Develop and own data models and outputs that support reporting and advanced analytics
- Work closely with analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable data solutions
- Improve data quality, governance, and documentation across the data platform
- Promote best practices in analytics engineering and support the wider team in adopting them
- Contribute to the evolution of the data architecture as the platform continues to scale
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience in analytics engineering or working closely with data analytics teams
- Advanced SQL skills within modern data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks
- Experience building and automating data pipelines and workflows
- Working knowledge of dbt for data transformation
- Proficiency in Python for data manipulation or engineering tasks
- Experience delivering data to BI tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
- Understanding of data modelling principles and data warehouse design
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
