Our client, a leading aerospace and precision engineering manufacturer, is expanding and looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join their fabrication team on a permanent late shift. Working within a highly regulated manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for the finishing, shaping and preparation of precision metal components using a range of hand tools and specialist equipment.
The ideal candidate will have experience using manufacturing hand tools for deburring, fettling, linishing, air grinding or similar metal finishing processes. Previous sheet metal experience is advantageous but not essential.

Sheet Metal Worker Job Description
- Carry out deburring, fettling, linishing, air grinding and finishing operations on precision metal components.
- Safely use a range of manufacturing hand tools and fabrication equipment.
- Cut, shape and form sheet metal components to engineering specifications.
- Complete inspections and quality checks using measuring equipment.
- Read and follow job cards, engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions.
Sheet Metal Worker Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Experience using manufacturing hand tools such as air grinders, deburring, fettling or linishing equipment.
- Previous experience within an engineering, fabrication or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and manufacturing instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and within a team.
