Hays Education is working in partnership with a high performing secondary school in Manchester to recruit a Teaching Assistant to start September 2026.

Your new role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4 in and out of the classroom
- Work closely with teachers to support learning and engagement
- Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups
- Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils with additional needs where required
- A varied role working in all areas of the school with the option to specialise
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience working with young people (school based experience desirable)
- A calm, patient and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting secondary age learners
