Our client, a growing interdealer broker, is expanding its equity derivatives franchise and has engaged us to identify a junior sales trader to join a small, well-established team.
The role sits at the intersection of buy-side and sell-side flow, offering genuine responsibility early and a clear path of progression as the desk scales. It would suit someone looking to step out of a large bank environment into a more entrepreneurial setting, where the firm's established sellside relationships provide a strong platform to learn the brokerage business and build a book.
Profile sought:-
- Approximately 3 years in sales or trading on a Delta One desk at a bank (ETFs, swaps, futures, financing, index)
- Strong product understanding and sound commercial judgement
- The ambition to build rather than maintain
The opportunity:-
- A defined progression path within a flat, collaborative team
- Direct exposure to senior brokers and clients from the outset
- The chance to grow alongside the desk in its formative stage.
We would welcome a confidential conversation with candidates who feel this aligns with their experience and ambitions.
