A vibrant and welcoming primary school in Basingstoke is seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join its dedicated team from September 2026. The Role
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering inspiring lessons that promote curiosity, confidence, and academic success. Working closely with experienced colleagues and support staff, you will help ensure every child receives the guidance and encouragement they need to thrive both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum

- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress effectively
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
About You
The ideal Year 1 Teacher will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1. Strong classroom management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for primary education are essential.
