Role Overview:
As an Art Sales Consultant you will play a vital role in driving new business by engaging potential investors over the phone. You will articulate the value of art as an alternative asset class, educate prospects on our portfolio, and close high-value sales in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively make outbound sales calls to warm and cold leads
- Present compelling investment propositions in contemporary and blue-chip art
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective investors and art buyers
- Identify client needs and tailor recommendations accordingly
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs
- Maintain accurate CRM records and follow-up activities
- Attend ongoing product and industry training to enhance your knowledge
Requirements:
- Proven telesales or phone-based B2C/B2B sales experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and closing skills
- Interest in or passion for the arts, investments, or luxury markets
- Target-driven with a competitive and resilient mindset
- Confident, articulate, and professional phone manner
- Comfortable working to daily and weekly sales metrics
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a performance-driven environment
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous experience selling art, luxury goods, financial products, or alternative investments
- Knowledge of the art market, artist valuation, or asset appreciation
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot
