Your responsibilities as HR Advisor
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters including performance management, disciplinary issues, grievances and absence management
- Produce contracts, letters and employment documentation in line with company policies and legislation
- Support recruitment activities including job descriptions, candidate screening, interviewing and onboarding
- Contribute to engagement initiatives, organisational change programmes and continuous improvement projects
- Maintain accurate employee records and produce reports to support compliance, audits and decision-making
- Review and support the development of policies to ensure alignment with current employment legislation and best practice
What we’re looking for in a HR Advisor
- Previous experience within a generalist human resources position
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and employee relations processes
- Experience supporting managers with people-related matters and policy application
- Previous involvement in recruitment, onboarding and employee lifecycle activities
- Ability to maintain accurate HR records and produce meaningful management information
Working Hours
Mostly office-based with one day working from home. Full-time hours preferred, although part-time hours will be considered.
