Prospero Teaching
Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a lovely primary school in Hodge Hill from September 2026 on a full-time, ongoing basis.
This varied role will involve providing classroom support within a Year 4 class during the mornings and delivering 1:1 support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs within a Year 1 class during the afternoons. The school is seeking a confident and adaptable Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships with pupils and support their academic, social and emotional development.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school setting
- Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- A good understanding of the Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Experience providing 1:1 support and implementing strategies to meet individual needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
- A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
