SRG
Agile Delivery Manager
Manchester (Hybrid – 2 days on site)
£55,000-£65,000 + bonus + benefits
We're looking for an Agile Delivery Manager to join a fast-paced, regulated gambling and gaming environment, working closely with product and engineering teams to strengthen delivery performance. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about understanding how work flows through systems, using metrics to identify inefficiencies, and helping teams deliver value in a consistent, sustainable way.
The Role
As an Agile Delivery Manager, you'll be embedded within cross-functional squads, partnering daily with Product Managers and Engineers. Rather than focusing on timelines and traditional project management outputs, your role will centre on improving flow, enabling better decision-making through data, and creating the conditions for high-performing teams.
You will be responsible for:
- Making work visible so teams can clearly understand progress, blockers, and constraints
- Using flow-based metrics such as cycle time, throughput, and WIP to assess delivery health and highlight areas for improvement
- Identifying bottlenecks within systems of work and helping teams address them proactively
- Coaching teams in practical Agile approaches, focusing on outcomes over process
- Managing dependencies, risks, and competing priorities before they impact delivery
- Supporting delivery across initiatives linked to regulation, compliance, and operational change within the gambling/gaming domain
- Improving transparency across the full lifecycle, from discovery through to release and live operation
This is a hands-on role focused on flow optimisation, systems thinking, and continuous improvement-not status reporting or rigid planning frameworks.
About You
You'll bring experience working in Agile product or technology environments, with the confidence to partner closely with engineering and product teams. You're comfortable using data to tell the story of delivery and to guide conversations around performance and improvement.
We're particularly interested in candidates who have:
- Experience supporting Agile teams using Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid approaches
- A solid understanding of flow metrics (e.g. work in progress, throughput, cycle time) and how they influence delivery outcomes
- The ability to use data to drive alignment and prioritisation discussions
- A calm, collaborative communication style with the ability to influence without authority
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence
- A genuine interest in how systems of delivery evolve and can be continuously optimised
Previous experience in gambling, gaming, or other regulated industries would be highly beneficial, though not essential.
Why Join?
You'll be joining a well-established organisation operating in the gambling and gaming sector, where delivery excellence and continuous improvement are actively encouraged. The environment offers meaningful, complex challenges while still providing the flexibility for individuals to make a tangible impact.
You'll work alongside pragmatic, supportive colleagues who value ownership, trust, and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Benefits
- Salary of £55,000-£65,000
- Discretionary annual bonus
- Enhanced holiday allowance (increasing with service)
- 24/7 digital GP access
- Enhanced parental and family leave
- Wellbeing and financial support initiatives
- Hybrid working model (2 days per week on site)
If you're motivated by improving delivery flow, using metrics to unlock better outcomes, and helping teams thrive within a regulated, high-impact environment, we'd love to hear from you.
