HGV Shunter Driver
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Shunter Driver on an Ad-hoc basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled driver looking for ongoing, stable work with a respected industry leader operating a specialist fleet of vehicles and mobile units.
The Role
- Shunting and manoeuvring HGV units within a busy yard and operational environment
- Positioning specialist units safely and accurately
- Working in tight spaces where precision reversing is essential
- Liaising with on-site teams to ensure vehicles are positioned correctly and safely
- Conducting vehicle checks and reporting any defects
This role requires exceptional reversing and manoeuvring skills due to restricted access areas and valuable equipment.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Proven experience as a shunter or yard driver
- Very high standard of vehicle control and reversing capability
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Professional and reliable approach
- Be within a commutable distance to High Wycombe
Pay & Benefits
- £16.00 per hour PAYE
