We are currently recruiting for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a well-established business based in Leigh-on-Sea. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further their career within a supportive and friendly finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Assisting with credit control and chasing outstanding payments
- Supporting month-end processes
- Preparing supplier payment runs
- Handling supplier and customer queries
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Providing general support to the finance function
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills with a proactive approach
