The Organisation:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Integration & Projects Manager to join a growing and highly respected financial planning business.

This is a pivotal role at the heart of an expanding organisation, responsible for delivering acquisitions, business integrations and strategic change projects across multiple offices. Working closely with advisers, operational teams and senior stakeholders, you will help ensure business change is delivered smoothly while maintaining excellent client outcomes and regulatory standards.

The Role:

As Integration & Projects Manager, you will act as the central point of coordination for integration activity and wider business projects across the organisation.

You will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of acquisitions, mergers, office integrations and strategic initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope and with minimal disruption to clients and colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading end-to-end integration projects following acquisitions and business restructures
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines and governance frameworks
  • Coordinating stakeholders across advisory, operational, compliance and support functions
  • Managing project risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring effective mitigation plans are in place
  • Supporting the successful transition of projects into business-as-usual operations
  • Delivering strategic and regulatory change initiatives across multiple departments
  • Providing regular project updates and reporting to senior leadership teams
  • Ensuring all activity aligns with FCA regulatory expectations and Consumer Duty principles
  • Facilitating collaboration across offices to drive consistency, best practice and operational efficiency
  • Supporting business growth by helping integrate new teams, systems and processes effectively

About you:

We're looking for a highly organised and commercially aware project professional who can build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience within financial planning, wealth management or a regulated professional services environment
  • Proven experience delivering complex business change, integration or transformation projects
  • Exposure to mergers, acquisitions or post-acquisition integration activity
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Excellent project planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working within an FCA-regulated environment
  • Knowledge of Consumer Duty and its practical application within business change programmes
  • The ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail
