The Role
We are looking for an experienced SMART Repair Technician to join a busy and successful automotive operation in Tring. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled vehicle cosmetic repair professional to work within a modern workshop environment, carrying out high-quality repairs to retail and used vehicles.
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing cosmetic vehicle repairs to a high standard while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out SMART repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Repairing scratches, scuffs, dents and minor body damage
- Completing alloy wheel refurbishments
- Performing paint preparation, colour matching and refinishing
- Carrying out bumper and panel repairs
- Ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer and company standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Working efficiently to meet productivity targets
About You
- Previous experience as a SMART Repair Technician, Paint Technician or Cosmetic Repair Technician
- Strong paint and refinishing skills
- Experience with colour matching and blending techniques
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
