Reed is recruiting on behalf of a well-established primary school for an Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for Inclusion, SEND and Early Years. This is a key leadership role focused on promoting a fully inclusive, child-centred environment and improving outcomes for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop SEND and inclusion provision across the school
- Oversee Early Years (EYFS) curriculum, teaching and outcomes
- Support, coach and develop teaching staff to deliver high-quality inclusive practice
- Monitor pupil progress and implement strategies to support achievement
- Work closely with families, external agencies and stakeholders
- Ensure safeguarding and statutory requirements are consistently met
- Contribute to wider school leadership, improvement planning and strategy
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong leadership experience within a primary setting
- Experience in SEND, inclusion or working as a SENDCo
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to inclusive, pupil-focused education
