A growing FMCG manufacturer are seeking a Engineering Supervisor to oversee engineering operations on the nights shift. As the Engineering Supervisor, where you'll play a pivotal part in driving operational excellence and innovation within the engineering function. Monday to Thursday Night Shift- 10 Hour Shifts.
Salary £50,000 to £53,800 plus Benefits
What You Will Do:
– Manage the Engineering maintenance system to improve machinery uptime and control parts costs.
– Lead and refine Planned Preventative Maintenance schedules to ensure assets perform to OEM specifications.
– Conduct root cause analysis on significant downtime events and implement corrective actions.
– Oversee purchasing of parts and services, ensuring cost-effective solutions and compliance with legal standards.
– Monitor and report on engineering KPIs, including weekly maintenance budgets and PPM hours.
– Facilitate contractor activities on-site, ensuring adherence to safety and operational standards.
What You Will Bring:
– Proven management experience within an engineering function.
– Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including logic control systems.
– Experience in using computerised maintenance management systems and writing RAMS.
– Familiarity with Continuous Improvement techniques and Lean Manufacturing principles.
– A degree or equiv,alent experience in engineering, alongside formal qualifications in food safety and health & safety management.
