Are you a creative and hands-on Design Engineer looking to take ownership of projects from concept through to production?
We are seeking a Design & Development Engineer to join a growing engineering team, supporting the design, development and testing of innovative products. This is a varied role offering involvement across the full product lifecycle, from initial concepts and prototyping through to manufacturing and final approval.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage design projects from concept to completion
- Create 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor
- Develop prototypes and support product testing activities
- Produce technical documentation, bills of materials and design records
- Provide technical support to production, sales and purchasing teams
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and regulations
- Visit customer sites when required to gather project information
About You
- Previous experience in a Design Engineer, Development Engineer or Product Design role
- Proficient in Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D CAD software
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
