Are you an ambitious recruiter or chef looking to build a rewarding career in one of London's busiest recruitment markets?
We're looking for a driven Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of a thriving temporary chef desk, supplying skilled chefs to some of London's leading bars, restaurants, event venues and leisure businesses.
This is a fast-paced, sales-focused role where no two days are the same. You'll build strong client relationships, recruit exceptional hospitality talent and ensure our clients have the chefs they need to deliver outstanding service.
The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will:
- Manage and grow a busy temporary chef desk.
- Develop new business through sales calls, networking and client meetings.
- Build long-term relationships with hotels, restaurants, pubs, leisure venues and catering businesses across London.
- Source, interview and register chefs of all levels, from Commis to Executive Chef.
- Match candidates to temporary assignments quickly and effectively.
- Manage bookings, rotas and client requirements.
- Ensure candidates are fully compliant before placement.
- Provide an exceptional level of customer service to both clients and candidates.
- Work towards individual and team sales targets while maximising GP and profitability.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous recruitment experience (hospitality recruitment is highly desirable but not essential) or is a chef looking to move away from the kitchen into a more sales based office role.
- A proven track record in business development and account management is desirable.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment and prioritise effectively.
- A resilient, target-driven attitude with a passion for delivering results.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- A full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential.
