Your work is essential in creating welcoming, safe, and spotless environments that make every guest’s visit memorable from the moment they walk through the door.

As a Venue Cleaner, you’ll play an important part in ensuring all guest-facing and back-of-house areas look their best. From bars and restaurants to entertainment spaces and communal facilities, you’ll help create a clean, hygienic, and inviting atmosphere for guests, owners, and team members alike.

What you will be doing…

  • Cleaning and maintaining all venues – including bars, restaurants, entertainment spaces, and communal facilities – to ensure they’re always guest-ready.
  • Completing routine and deep cleaning tasks in line with schedules, covering floors, surfaces, toilets, and high-touch areas.
  • Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly, following COSHH guidelines.
  • Monitoring cleanliness during trading hours and responding promptly to spillages or urgent cleaning needs.
  • Replenishing essential supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly, including following recycling procedures.
  • Reporting maintenance concerns, damages, or safety hazards to the relevant manager.
  • Working closely with other team members and departments to ensure all venues remain clean and presentable.
  • Maintaining high personal hygiene standards and using PPE when required.

About you…

  • Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping (desirable – full training can be provided).
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive, reliable attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work varied days, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak periods.
