Interim Director – FM Transformation & Development
Surrey (5 days on site)
£510 per day (Outside IR35)
We are supporting a leading NHS Trust to appoint an experienced Interim Director to lead Estates & Facilities transformation and oversee the Trust’s Development Control Plan.
The Role
A senior leadership position focused on driving strategic transformation across both Hard and Soft FM, aligned to the Trust’s long-term vision and the New Hospital Programme (NHP).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on Property & Facilities Management (P&FM) matters relating to the NHP
- Deliver large-scale transformation programmes across the organisation
- Oversee and implement Development Control Plans linked to the Trust strategy
- Procure and manage professional services and supply chain partners
- Drive service improvement, operational efficiency, and cultural change
- Collaborate across NHSE, ICBs and wider stakeholders to ensure integrated delivery
Leadership
- Act as Deputy to the Director of Estates & Facilities on NHP matters
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across internal functions and external partners
Requirements
- Senior-level NHS Estates & Facilities leadership experience
- Proven track record delivering FM transformation programmes
- Strong stakeholder engagement across complex healthcare systems
- Experience aligned to capital planning / NHP / major development programmes
