A respected law firm based in Solihull is looking to recruit a Private Client Legal Assistant to support its established Private Client team. The role will involve assisting fee earners with a broad range of matters while ensuring clients receive an efficient and professional service.
Key Responsibilities
Providing administrative and legal support to Private Client fee earners.
Preparing correspondence, legal documents, and client care paperwork.
Assisting with matters relating to wills, probate, estate administration, and lasting powers of attorney.
Opening and maintaining client files in accordance with firm procedures.
Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and external organisations.
Managing incoming and outgoing communications, including telephone enquiries.
Scheduling appointments and maintaining fee earner diaries.
Assisting with the preparation of probate applications and estate administration documentation.
Ensuring accurate record keeping and file management.
Supporting the team with general administrative duties as required.
Requirements
Previous experience in a Legal Assistant, Secretary, or Administrative role within a legal environment.
Experience within a Private Client department would be advantageous.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Professional and empathetic approach when dealing with clients.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
