Position: HSQE Advisor & Administrator
Department: Service Engineering (UK Branch)
Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Fully Onsite – Colnbrook
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 (40 hours per week)
Flexibility required, including occasional night work for site audits
Salary: £34,000 – £36,000 per annum
Overview
An established and growing engineering services organisation is seeking an experienced HSQE Advisor & Administrator to support its UK branch. This role is key in ensuring high standards across Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental practices, working closely with engineering teams and wider business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HSQE support and guidance to engineering teams and the wider business
- Prepare, review, and maintain Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
- Maintain and update HSQE logs, records, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate and manage:
- Training schedules
- PAT testing
- Tool calibration programmes
- Monitor and advise on current HSQE legislation and ensure continued compliance
- Conduct on-site safety and quality audits for employees and subcontractors
- Support environmental reporting, including:
- Carbon footprint tracking
- Waste data reporting to central HSQE team
- Assist with general office and administrative tasks when required
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety-focused role, ideally within engineering or service environments
- Strong understanding of HSQE processes and compliance
- Ability to manage documentation and compliance records effectively
- Confident conducting site inspections and audits
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) – essential
- Full UK Driving Licence – essential
- 5-year traceable work or education history
Desirable (not essential)
- Experience within service engineering or infrastructure environments
- Environmental reporting experience
- Exposure to working with subcontractors and multi-site operations
