Role: Private Client Solicitor
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £33,000 to £71,000 DOE
Location: New Milton
Hours: Full Time – Monday – Friday. 9am – 5pm. (Hybrid work available after probation)
Start Date: Our client will accept notice periods
The salary range is broad as our client is open to considering candidates with varying levels of experience, from around two years’ experience through to Director-level professionals.
Our client is a well-established law firm based in New Milton. With a great client base and offering a diverse workload, our client prides themselves on the high level of service they provide to their clients.
The successful candidate will have directorship opportunities, and this is an exciting time for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join the firm.

Duties and Responsibilities of a Private Client Solicitor:
- Manage client matters such as Wills, LPA’s, Trusts from instruction to completion, providing written and verbal legal advice.
- Meet with clients face-to-face to take instructions and understand their objectives.
- Assess client goals, draft legal documents, and liaise with professionals including solicitors, HMRC, and agents.
- Maintain compliant files, manage deadlines, costs, and client expectations.
- Prepare, dictate, and manage correspondence and documents in line with firm processes.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and ongoing professional development.
- Record time, manage billing, prepare estate accounts, and comply with SRA Accounts Rules.
About You:
- At least two years’ post-qualification experience.
- Experience with Will Trusts and the Trust Registration Service (desirable).
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
