Description
The Accounts Payable Clerk will;
- Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding and posting to the system.
- Reconcile supplier statements to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and process payment runs in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and documentation.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Respond to supplier queries and provide solutions efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Support the accounting and finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial systems.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and task management.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with suppliers and colleagues effectively.
Job Offer
- Hourly rate of £12.00 to £14.00, depending on experience.
