The Role – ASD Teaching Assistant
As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a KS1 pupil with ASD, providing tailored support throughout the school day. You will help the child access learning, develop social skills, and build confidence both inside and outside the classroom. Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO, you will implement strategies that support the pupil's individual needs and encourage positive progress. The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and have previous experience supporting children with ASD.

This friendly primary school is in Enfield and is a 10 minute walk from the nearest train statiom. This school caters for children aged 3-11 and is dedicated to ensuring every pupil receives the support and encouragement they need to succeed. Staff work collaboratively to create a nurturing learning environment where children feel safe, respected, and motivated to learn. The school offers strong SEN support, regularly supporting pupils with complex needs including ASD and SEMH. Ofsted has graded this school as "Good".
