We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Van Driver to join a prominent service company based in Wickford. This role offers an immediate start and involves the delivery and collection of industrial floor mats.
This position comes with comprehensive training and a company van. Internal interviews will be conducted to assess candidate suitability.
Role Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Van Driver will be the efficient and timely delivery and collection of industrial floor mats. This is a physically demanding role requiring the ability to perform heavy lifting and bending. Candidates must therefore be in good physical condition. Early starts are a regular feature of this role, with typical shift commencements between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM, depending on the assigned route.
Candidate Requirements:

Hold a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 12 months.

Be aged 21 or over (due to insurance stipulations).

Demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and comfort with physical work.

Possess a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
Remuneration:
Compensation for this role is structured as follows, varying by shift type:

Standard weekdays: £13.81 per hour

Sundays: £18.00 per hour

Bank Holidays: £19.28 per hour
