Looking for flexible Teaching Assistant work in Grantham?
The Supply Register is recruiting Learning Support Assistants / Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Grantham and surrounding areas.
Working in partnership with the Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust, we offer a mix of day-to-day supply, short-term, and longer-term opportunities.
About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll support pupils across EYFS and KS1, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Roles may include:
- General classroom support
- Small group interventions
- 1:1 support for pupils who need additional help
Key Responsibilities
- Support learning across the primary curriculum
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group support
- Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities
- Promote a calm, structured learning environment
- Support pupils’ confidence and emotional wellbeing
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable)
- Strong communication and behaviour-management skills
- A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils
- A valid DBS (or willingness to apply)
