Business Teacher (Immediate Start – Temp to Permanent Opportunity)

Start Date: ASAP (Temporary through to July, Permanent from September)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Contract: Temporary initially, with a permanent position available from September

The Role

We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable Business Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school with an immediate start available. This role will begin on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year, with a strong opportunity to transition into a permanent post from September.This is an excellent chance to join a supportive department and inspire students to develop a strong understanding of business concepts and real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and structured Business Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Plan, assess, and monitor student progress in line with curriculum standards.
  • Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment
  • Support student attainment and encourage critical thinking
  • Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Proven experience teaching within a UK secondary school setting
  • Strong subject knowledge in Business Studies
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A passion for education and student achievement
