Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex procurement projects and negotiations
- Develop sourcing strategies aligned with environmental and social values
- Use data and analysis to inform planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring
- Identify and implement improvements to procurement processes and systems
- Support and mentor colleagues, stepping into leadership roles when required
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in public sector procurement, with a strong understanding of frameworks, compliance, and transparency
- CIPS qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong skills in contract management, supplier engagement, and strategic sourcing
- A proactive, analytical mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence using digital tools and procurement systems
