Audit Client Manager Birmingham 35,000 – £45,000 Hybrid Working – First 6 months training on site
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Audit professional to join a growing and highly regarded accountancy practice as an Audit Client Manager. This role offers the chance to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients whilst working closely with Partners to deliver an exceptional client experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing audit assignments from planning through to completion, reviewing statutory accounts and acting as a key point of contact for clients.
Key Responsibilities: • Managing a portfolio of audit and accounts clients • Leading audits from planning to completion • Reviewing statutory accounts prepared by junior team members • Building and maintaining strong client relationships • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team • Identifying opportunities to add value to clients
The Ideal Candidate: • Part Qualified – ACA or ACCA / AAT Qualified • Previous experience managing audits within practice • Strong technical accounting knowledge • Excellent communication and client management skills • Looking for a role with genuine progression opportunities
