Academics is recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable PPA Cover Teachers to work across a range of welcoming primary schools in Brighton & Hove.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers who enjoy variety and are confident teaching across different year groups. As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting schools by delivering engaging lessons while class teachers undertake their Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
- Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of learning.
- Create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Adapt quickly to different classes, year groups, and school environments.
- Provide feedback to teachers regarding pupil progress and learning.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching within UK primary schools.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- A flexible, confident, and proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for inspiring and supporting young learners.
